Udupi: ‘Bloom Today and Everyday’ programme held at Mount Rosary Church, Kallianpur

Udupi, Sep 26: Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte with the support of Mount Rosary Stree Sanghatan and Liturgy Commission organized ‘Bloom Today and Everyday’ programme on September 16 for 9th, 10th, I and II PUC students along with their parents.

The programme started with Mass by youth director, Shimoga diocese, Fr Pius D’Souza, who was also resource person of the day. After the Mass, programme continued at Mount Rosary Hall by his talk and interaction with the students and parents. In his talk, he explained the students why they have to obey their parents, importance of parents in children’s life and how to build good relationship between parents and their children.



In their team, Sr Severine, Bengaluru, also interacted with the parents and explained how to grow up their children amidst the present day distraction in the Society. She said there was need to develop the spirit of forgiveness in the family. She also explained the developments that happened in the society because of negligence of parents.

Anita Dias, president of Stree Sanghatan welcomed the gathering. Parish priest Fr Dr Lesli D’Souza, conveyed his best wishes to the programme. Assistant parish priest Fr Clany D’Souza sought feedback from the children. Daizy Mendonza, rendered the vote of thanks. Around 150 parents and children participated in the programme.
