Mangaluru, Sep 25: Shikshitha Karkera, a student of St Agnes College here is selected to participate in a youth festival in Tunisia, Africa from September 30 to October 7.
She is among twenty people selected by the department of youth, government of India from different parts of the country and is the only person selected from the state of Karnataka for the festival.
She had taken part as NSS volunteer in the Republic Day parade in Delhi in 2018 and in the tea party with the president of India then.
She is a Yakshagana and drama artiste and will present a cultural programme in Tunisia.
