Bantwal: Carmel College Modankap conducts PTA general body meet

Bantwal, Sep 25: Carmel College Modankap recently conducted its annual general body meeting of the PTA at the college audiotorium.

Ramya, counsellor, Manashanthi Counselling Centre, Mangaluru was chief guest as well as resource person. She addressed the parents on how to deal with adolescent children.

Rajeshwari HOD of BCA presented the major activities of the year 2017-18 through a PowerPoint.

Veena placed before the parents the annual report of the PTA for the year 2017-18.



Vinitha Veigas HOD of Business Administation presented the list of student toppers in the second, fourth and sixth semester examinations of Mangalore University held in the month of April/May who were felicitated.

Joel Mascarenhas, lecturer in Commerce conducted the elections for the posts of the executive committee for the year 2018-19.

Pakruddin was elected vice president and Jacinth D Cunha joint secretary for the year 2018-19.

The entire executive committee of the PTA has 13 parents as its members. Sr Latha Fernandes AC the vice principal compered the programme, Mukthashree HOD of Kannada welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest. Jyothi Priya Fernandes lecturer in commerce proposed the vote of thanks. Prof Sr M Supriya AC, principal gave her presidential remarks. The meeting ended with the National Anthem.
