Mangaluru: Vidya Vinutha D'Souza of SAC awarded PhD

Mangaluru, Sep 24: Vidya Vinutha D'Souza, assistant professor, post-graduate department of Social Work, St Aloysius College (Autonomous), was awarded doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Mysore.

She was awarded PhD for her thesis on ‘Employment Concerns and Prospects among Deep sea Fishers in Coastal Karnataka- A Social Work perspective’ under the guidance of Dr Mohan A K.

Vidya is the wife of Shinoy V Joseph and daughter of Balthazar D'Souza and Nora Rita D'Souza.
