Mangaluru: Training workshop for teachers at Shakthi Residential School concludes

Mangaluru, Sep 24: A workshop of communication and human resource training for teachers with students held at Shakthi Residential School concluded here on Saturday September 22.

Mangaluru's hotelier Rajagopala Rai who arrived as chief guest said that teachers should be emotional and creative. “They should teach students like mothers. They will have to make necessary preparations for it before coming. There should be good research and thinking among them. Teachers should develop the character of teaching with love. The part of teachers in developing human values among students along with curriculum and non curricular activities is great,” he said.

Shakthi Pre-University college principal Prabhaker G S said that teachers and students are like a family in a school. “Parents send their children to school trusting the school. All round development of a student is the responsibility of a teacher,” he said.



“Training for development of skills among teachers during the present era of computers is important. Teachers of Shakthi Residential School should make the most of the workshop and increase self confidence of the students,” he said.

Teachers expressed their opinions about the workshop. Gopalakrishna temple managing trustee K C Naik, Shakthi Residential School trustee Dr Muralidhar Naik, chief advisor of the organization, Ramesh K, management official Bykadi Janardhan Achar, development officer Nasim Banu and Gopalakrishna pre-primary school convener Neema Saxena were present.
