Bangladeshi migrants are 'termites', will be removed from voters' list: Amit Shah

Jaipur, Sep 22(PTI): BJP President Amit Shah on Saturday termed Bangladeshi migrants as 'termites' and said that he will remove them from voters' list.

Lauding BJP's work of identifying illegal immigrants, Shah said that each one of them will be identified and struck off from the electoral roll.

Shah said that the National Register of Citizens (NRC) recently published in Assam had BJP's contribution in identifying nearly 40 lakh illegal immigrants.

"The BJP government will pick out each and every infiltrator," he said.

Speaking at a public meeting in Sawai Madhopur district's Gangapur, Shah said, "BJP sarkaar ek-ek ghuspaithiye ko chun-chun kar matdata suchi se hatane ka kaam karegi."

The Bharatiya Janata Party chief was in Rajasthan earlier this month as well as his party and the Congress gear up for the Assembly elections by the year-end.

The BJP government in Rajasthan is like the unshakeable 'Angad ka Paon', he said referring to a character in Ramayana whose foot even Ravana could not move.

The Congress cannot do any good for the country as that party has neither a leader nor a policy, he said.

Calling Rahul Gandhi 'Rahul Baba', Shah said while he is demanding an account of the work done by the BJP, the people want him to tell them what the four generations of his own family have done.

He said Rajasthan was a`Bimaru' state during the Congress rule but Chief Minister Vasundhra Raje had worked to bring in progress.

He said both the central and the state governments had initiated development projects.

It is the Indian Voters, this time, who must exercise wisdom, an analytical own mind and with a vision of development at the ground level, very much reflecting in their own pockets, their life style, education, jobs, prices of commodities etc to vote. Time has come to remove all those from mind, who already failed, failed and failed, how much they may scream in religious tones.

People of Neighboring Indian states of Bangladesh, wants people of Bangaldesh for cheap labour.
They further say, there is no firm boundary to prevent infiltration, people are freely moving in and out, crossing River.
People of distant states oppose Bangladeshi migrant workers they say.
If the real matter is so, bordering state people really need Bangladeshi Labour, why there is no border check? Visa Policy in Place?
Or can we not have something like Nepal Policy? But security concerns should prevail over everything!

Look at Daku's intention, he said he want to remove the names from voters list only but not deportation. Which means he wants votes not the security of India.

Shaik Haseena must be humiliated after hearing the word "termite" used for her people. Bangladesh is the only neighbor state left which had good relationship with India. I dont think will remain for long time
Imposition of NRC left out only muslim names in Assam although they possessing indian nationality documents. The move completely a political motivated from BJP looking at 2019 polls. Only muslim community will be deprived from voting rights which is believed to be anti BJP. ..
