Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Sep 22: Protesting against the call given by chief minister, H D Kumaraswamy, to the people to revolt against the BJP, a delegation of BJP leaders met the Governor on the evening of Friday September 21 and handed him a memorandum.

The party said that the chief minister, who is responsible to maintain law and order situation in the state, has called for the people to revolt. Therefore, they have urged the Governor to recommend to the central government to dismiss the coalition government in the state. The delegation also met state director general of police (DGP), Neelamani Raju, and urged her to register complaint of treason against the chief minister.

The delegation was led by union minister, D V Sadananda Gowda. "Kumaraswamy was administered oath of office in the name of constitution. He should have shown faith and loyalty towards constitutional provisions. Instead, by calling upon people to revolt, the chief minister has committed a serious offence. Legal action should be initiated against Kumaraswamy for this statement," it urged him.

A CD containing footage of protest organized in front of Yeddyurappa's residence on Thursday by Congress activists was presented to the Governor. Former chief minister, Jagadish Shettar, former deputy chief minister, R Ashok, MPs Shobha Karandlaje and P C Mohan, MLAs, Govind Karjol, Hartalu Halappa, Ravikumar and several other leaders were in the delegation.

Many times I said, Siddaramaiah is a better CM and he has maturity too to be the CM.....Congress is doing a great mistake by sidelining him and depriving him CM post....Now also it is not too late to bring a change and save Karnataka from riot instigating CM...
