Karwar, Sep 21: A 70-year-old man reportedly raped a woman who was appointed to take care of his sister, who is ill and bedridden. This incident has been reported from Majali Sawantwada in the taluk.

The rape-accused happens to be Dinkar Sawant. His sister is afflicted by a chronic disease. A home nurse from Pune had been brought here to take care of the lady.

The accused reportedly forcibly dragged the nurse into his room and raped her. On the basis of the complaint made by the victim, a case was registered in Chittakul police station.
