Karwar: Coast Guard rescues 17 fishermen stranded in Arabian Sea

Karwar, Sep 20: The Coast Guard rescued 17 fishermen at Arabian Sea after their boat got hit by giant waves here on Thursday, September 20.

It is learnt that 17 fishermen had left in Yashavardhana boat from Baithakola bunder in Karwar on Thursday. The boat was hit by giant waves in the sea and the fishermen had sought the Coast Guard’s help to rescue them.

The Coast Guard successfully rescued all the fishermen and brought the boat to the shore with the help of other boat.
