Mangaluru, Sep 20: Venizeia Annie Carlo secured a silver medal in Asian Bench Press Powerlifting Championship held in Dubai on Wednesday, September 19
The championship was organised by the International Powerlifting Federation, Asian Powerlifting Federation and Emirates Powerlifting Committee.
She is being coached by Sathish Kumar Kudroli. For Venizeia, winning medals is a family affair. Her father, Vincent Prakash Carlo, is an international body builder and power lifter. He also participated in the same championship in senior category. The championship will be come to end on September 24.
Currently, Venizeia is pursuing her graduation in Mangaluru. Her father Vincent works in the State Excise department and mother Flavia Carlo is a home maker.
