Marvellous idea indeed in creating a special day commemorating the importance of creating close relations between the grandparents and the grandchildren. The school environment is the best location to celebrate this close connection between the grandchildren and their grandparents. Even if the grandparents are not in existence, it is nice for the kids to think of their grandparents and rejoice in all the past memories of life.

The grandparents have lot to contribute towards their grandchildren. There is a close affiliation between them that words cannot be described. The bondage between the grandchildren and the grandparents can save millions of children in this world by solidifying the relations and making the family life more meaningful and valuable.

The existence of family values and all the benefits derived from those values can hold the families together by rendering timely help towards each other. The families that pray together stay together. When parents are engaged with too many other priorities of life, or even when parents do not enjoy close relations with each other, the grand parents can easily shoulder some of the responsibilities of the family, and can provide all the required support for the grandchildren. Let us not deny the important role that any grandparents can render to the younger generation because of their close bondage of love and understanding.
