Mangalore Ladies Beauty Association holds annual celebration

Mangaluru, Sep 16: Mayor Bhaskar Moily inaugurated the annual celebration of Mangalore Ladies Beauty Association here at Tulu Bhavana, Urwa Store, on Sunday, September 16.

Addressing the gathering, Bhaskar Moily said, “Beauticians are developing their business and growing in their profession. This association has helped these beauticians to involve in various activities. I wish all them all the best.”

President of the association Babitha U Shetty said, “We are conducting this annual celebration of our association to unite all the members from various zones namely Sullia, BC Road, Surathkal, Mangaluru, Vitla and Moodbidri. As many as 25 programmes are scheduled to take place in this annual celebration which includes fashion show as well. This is our sixth annual celebration since the asociation’s inception in the year 2012.

Meanwhile, secretary of Sri Devi Education Trust Myna S Shetty was felicitated. Nithesh Shetty compered the programme.

District BJP general secretary captain Brijesh Chowta, president of Mulki Bunts Sangha Santhosh Kumar Hegde, entrepreneur Jessy Serrao, former president Inner Wheel Club Jayashree Shetty and others were present.

    Ladies of Mangalore City are indeed "outstanding" and "forward looking". Most of them are well educated hence they are very entrepreneurial and enterprising. Most of the ladies active in the society are well supported by their rich husbands, hence their growth and prosperity has no limit.


    Mangalore is fully surrounded by wealthy merchants who have limitless opportunities ahead of them to grow and prosper. The ladies of Mangalore therefore have abundant opportunities to be sponsored by their husbands and the public in order to create so many new projects that are initiated by ladies so that many more new ideas can be blossomed in the City that enables ladies to come forward and display their own ideas and projects.


    Ladies of Mangalore can support many cottage industries that are solely dedicated for women. Everything takes time in India to bring any project into a reality, but when ladies are exclusively encouraged to demonstrate their own ideas and projects, the outcome will be productive and will create positive results.


    I wish best of success for any projects initiated by the ladies of Mangalore. They will bring multitudes of benefits for Mangalore and the rest of India.
