Yet another young team of Mangaluru announces new Tulu film

Mangaluru, Sep 14: Tulu film industry is growing day by day. Since 1971, nearly 96 Tulu films have hit the silver screen in which many young and talented directors, technicians and producers have contributed to the industry in their own way for its growth.

In the recent past, several youngsters are coming forward in producing a film. Here is a young team from Mangaluru with a new Tulu film. Lenard Fernandes, who hails from Vamanjoor in Mangaluru, now settled in Israel, is producing this movie under his own banner.

Lenard has done his graduation in DFM and DF Tech in filmmaking and has also worked with well known artistes and technicians in Bollywood. Apart from it, he has also acted in Tulu movie ‘Umil’ and a serial named ‘Sri Sai Kathavratha’ which was telecasted on Udaya TV.

The story and screenplay of this movie is by Vishwanath Kodikal who has already directed many short films and album songs. He is also the director of this new Tulu movie.

Speaking about the new project, Vishwanath Kodikal said, “The name of the movie is confidential. Once all the artistes of the movie are finalised, the name of the movie will be revealed probably in the month of November.”

He also added saying that the movie will begin its shoot in the month of December and the entire movie will be shot in and around Mangaluru.
