Kuwait: TKK to award scholarship and merit certificates, hold competitions

Kuwait, Sep 4: Tulu Koota Kuwait (TKK) will celebrating Tulu Parba 2018 on October 26, at American International School, Kamel Al Rayes Auditorium Maidan Hawally. The tradition of awarding scholarship for the needy and merit certificate for the academic excellence in 10th and 12th std to the children of valid members of TKK will continue this year.

TKK has requested all eligible members to submit a written scholarship/merit certificate application for their children, who are studying either in State of Kuwait or in India along with the copies of their marks sheets for the academic year 2017-18 at the earliest. No application will be accepted after September 30.

Tulu Parba Competitions 2018

TKK – Tulu Parba 2018 competitions are here once again and the registrations have already begun. The competitions will be held on October 5 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Indian Community School Auditorium, Salmiya.

Lots of fun and creativity is the call for the day, hence do not miss this opportunity to enjoy it to the fullest. Competitions chalked out for all the age groups and which include Cute Baby Photo of the year, Paper Collage, Drawing, Model Making, Fancy Dress, Solo Dance and such other competitions for kids. Group Fancy Dress, Pick & Speak other exiting and fun competitions are planned for the adults. Main attraction of the day will be ‘Super Jodi’ competition with an added thrill through uploading a musical video on Facebook. There will be special prizes for highest likes in Facebook apart from the judge’s selection.

Unlike all other Tulu Parba Competition this year there will be an additional inter association competition – ‘Group Folk Dance’. A group folk dance team from each invited associations of Karnataka will participate to show their talent and win the trophy and the hearts of the audience through their performance.

TKK has requested interested participants to give their names for registrations as the last date for accepting registrations is October 1.
