The whole problem here is because of no accountability . Who is the contractor here who has done the work, who is the consultant who accepted such work and who from the pad has accepted the bridge the way it has been constructed ?

Steps to be taken are backlist the contractor from future tenders , penalize and dismiss the consultant any the per engineer responsible . Imagine if the bridge fell when a train was moving ? Hundreds would have died .

If proper action is taken then everyone will think twice before accepting such shabby work.

But this is the modern day India where nothing will happen and the same contractors will be awarded jobs by the same engineers . We all make noise and nothing happens .Jai hind

This is a very serious accident. Hadn't it been for luck or miracle, this accident could surely be a fatal one, not to mention the damage it caused to the vehicle and also delay for passengers who were on their way to the airport.
