Udupi, Aug 20: The suspicions and curiosity that arose after the mysterious death of Sri Lakshmivara Theertha Swamiji of Shiroor Math will be put to rest this week. The organs of the dead body of Shiroor Swamiji were sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and the report is expected to arrive in another two days, as per reports.

The preliminary post-mortem report is already in the possession of the concerned authority. But they are waiting for the FSL report in order to scrutinize the death case more deeply.

Once the FSL report is available, the police department is going to publish the comprehensive report.

After making the report public, the Shiroor Math will be handed over to the Sode Math, which will take care of the Math as there is no nominated seer.

The Seer of Sode Math is undertaking the 'Chaturmasa Vrutha' at the Sonda Kshetra near Sirsi and the priests will carry out the daily poojas under his guidance. If all these falls in place as expected, then the 'Rangapooje' for Lord Mukhyaprana of Shiroor Math will be carried out with the public on August 25. Though the ‘Rangapooje’ is being offered since a month, the public is not allowed for security reasons. Once the Math is handed over back to the Sode Math, all the poojas will be carried out as before.
