Bantwal: Bike-borne assailants attack activist of Hindu outfit

Bantwal, Aug 19: An activist of a Hindu outfit was attacked by a gang on the night of Saturday, August 18 at Karaje near Marnabail.

Dakshan, the activist, who was riding his bike, was attacked by a gang of assailants, who also came in bikes.

Dakshan, who was injured in the attack, has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.

Bantwal police have visited the spot and are conducting further investigation.

Nalin Kumar Kateel, Member of Parliament and Rajesh Naik, MLA, visited the hospital and inquired about the well being of injured Dakshan.
