Mumbai: BSKB Association celebrates Independence Day

Mumbai, Aug 18: BSKB Association, Gokula celebrated 72nd Independence Day of India at shelter for senior citizens 'Ashraya'.

Vice president Vaman Holla hoisted the flag early in the morning and wished compliments of the day to all. It was followed by a musical programme by 'Sama Group'.

In the hall programme held in the afternoon chaired by Dr Suresh S Rao, vice president Vaman Holla, Shailini Rao, secretary A P K Pothi, joint secretary Chitra Melmane, treasurer Haridas Bhat, joint treasurer Kusum Srinivas and convener Chandravati Rao were present. Dr Suresh Rao recalled the services of Prema Rao to Gokula who was honoured on the occasion.



President and office bearers felicitated students in the community who have secured highest marks in the academic year. Indrani Rao read out the list of prize winners.

Secretary A P K Pothi compered the programme.
