Three injured in grenade explosion in J&K


Srinagar, Aug 17 (IANS): Three civilians were injured in a grenade explosion on Friday in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, police said.

Police said militants hurled a grenade at the office of Superintendent of Police (SP) in Awantipora town. The grenade exploded outside the office, injuring three civilians.

The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. The area has been cordoned off for search operations, police said.
