Mumbai: Ganiga Samaja celebrates Independence Day

Mumbai, Aug 16: Ganiga Samaja Mumbai celebrated Independence Day at its office at Gulraj tower, Kurla east. President of the Samaja Kutpadi Ramachandra A Ganiga hoisted the national flag.

Young entrepreneurs Rathnaker Shetty Thane, honorary president Jagannath M Ganiga, Vice president Bhasker M Ganiga, honorary treasurer Jayanth P Ganiga, assistant secretary Jagadish Ganiga and women's wing president Tara N Bhatkal who were on the dais presented annual scholarships and prizes to community students.

Members of Kutpadi Ramachandra and community members celebrated his 75th birthday despite his reluctance.



Isha Rajesh Ganiga sang national anthem. Honorary chief secretary Chandrashekar R Ganiga welcomed and compered the programme. Vidyodaya committee executive president Vijayendra Ganiga read the list of children who were felicitated and advised them. Youth wing president Ganesh R Kutpadi thanked. The programme concluded after national anthem.
