Mangaluru: Huge tree uprooted at Urwa, rickshaw driver injured

Mangaluru, Aug 16: An auto rickshaw driver suffered injuries after a huge tree fell near Canara School at Urwa on Thursday, August 16.

The identity of the injured is yet to be ascertained.

The heavy rains in the city have hit normal life with several trees and electric poles uprooted.

Urwa police and the locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to nearby hospital. The fallen tree has been cleared.
