    Dear DIC - Madam,

kudos to you for taking the initiative, time and preseverence to look into the flood affected regions.
In this context i wish to bring to your notice that we in Thokottu Mangalore , have been in connect with officials- Ms Bharati here for the upkeep of the road leading to the Highway NH17 , water supply not sufficient (even at the outset of this year's monsoons- Now the situation is under control due to heavy rains) .

The officials are unable to resolve the matter related to repairs to the mud road leading to the highway owing to which i 've already had two accidents on the way up since there are no Speed breakers and one cannot catch the speeding motorists as it creates a Road block.
The resolution given by Team here was putting stones and gravel which have been swept away after the downpours. they are still not aware of monsoons in Mangalore.

Secondly water paucity we suffered even during monsoons , because we do not have a well in our premise while all our neighbours have . The feedback given by Ms Bharathi is that trained personnel are'nt available to operate the water supply unit due to which my mother has to give her several calls to release water even when in Kerala flooding of dams was witnessed.

Request you to an official worthy enough to look into the burning issues here.

    thanks and regards
    Smithaa Gopaal
