Mangaluru: Parking row, shop owner assaults watchman of the building

Mangaluru, Aug 15: Hanumanthappa, watchman of Ace Mathoor building at Carstreet in the city has registered a complaint with the Bunder police station accusing Vidyadhar Shet, owner of Srinidhi Juice Center of assaulting him for not allowing to park his vehicle at no parking area.

Hanumanthappa was performing his duty of a watchman at Ace Mathoor building on Monday, August 13. At around 5.30 pm Vidyadhar Shet arrived on the bike and went into the parking area and parked his bike. Hanumanthappa objected to the parking of the bike and said that the parking is meant for only for the apartment residents of the building. Vidyadhar who got irated due to the objection raised by the watchman assaulted him and also threatened with dire consequences.

A case stands registered in the Bunder police station in this regard.
