Kundapur: Gurkul Public School Vakwadi celebrates 72nd Independence Day

Kundapur, Aug 15: "Numerous revolutionaries and national leaders sacrificed their lives in order to make our country Independent and build a free and comprehensive India. It is the responsibility of the present generation to safeguard our Sanatan culture, variety of practices and thoughts, life style and preserving the natural diversity of the country. It is also essential that all of us have to fight unitedly to protect the sovereignity of our country. The loyalty, performance and patriotism of the freedom fighters should be our ideals," said Subhashchandra Shetty, joint executive of Bhandya educational trust.

He was speaking after hoisting the flag on the 72nd Independence Day celebration. He wished all the people gathered on the occasion of the Independence Day. The students conducted an attractive march past.

Anupama S Shetty, joint executive, Aravind V Marali, prinicpal of Gurkul public school, Fr Sunny P John, prinicpal of college, staff and students were present.
