Beltangady: Woman dies 4 days after delivery – medical negligence alleged

Beltangady, Aug 15: A woman, who had delivered a baby four days before, died on Monday, August 13.

Shabana Bhanu (28), wife of Rauf from Laila, is the deceased. She originally hailed from Panemangaluru near Bantwal.

The family members of the deceased have lodged a police complaint here alleging medical negligence. The police have registered a case of unnatural death.

Shabana delivered a baby on August 10 in a private hospital near Beltangady. On Monday, she developed health complications and was asked to be taken to Mangaluru. While on the way, she breathed her last.

Police are investigating.

    It was in the long Congress rule after independence , the reservation system was introduced and strengthened. The undeserved and incapable ones got medical degrees. Later the same government introduced capitation seats . There too undeserved and incapable ones got medical degrees by paying money.
    just check the ratio of seats by merit and seats by reservations and capitation. You will surely think twice before taking an appointment with doctors!!!
