Mangaluru Aug 14: A two-day national workshop on ‘Advances in Machining Process’ AIMP-2018 will be organized by the department Mechanical Engineering of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, on August 17 and 18.
The inaugural function will be presided by Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal, Srinivas Institute of Technology and Dr Raviraj Adhikari, professor, MIT, Manipal will be the chief guest of function.
In the two days’ workshop, resource persons from NITK- Surathkal, MIT Manipal, and NMAMIT Nitte will be addressing at the different sessions. The faculties and research scholars of various institutions will participate in the workshop. The workshop was convened by Dr Thomas Pinto, HOD of Mechanical department and Dr Shankar KS, HOD of Marine department. The workshop will be coordinated by Jayaram Thumbe, professor, Mechanical department.
