Good coverage by Daijiworld.com indeed. Apart from the jackpot, the very fact that the singers are performing in the finals of the first ever GVM contest should be a great achievement. Undoubtedly, all the singers will be fine tuning their vocal chords to impress the judges with specially selected songs.

However, one feels that the judges for the grand finals should have been different from the earlier rounds or vice versa. I know that the judges are all eminent musicians who will do their best in deciding the top winners.

The concept has been good and one hopes that such similar ideas with a few changes will soon herald to encourage the konkani singers. The boom for the hindi singers is unparallelled at the moment. May the same happen to the deserving konkani lovers of music and singing.

Daijiworld.com surely covered the event in a fine manner. All the regional 5 organisers also need to be congratulated for arranging the regional contests so nicely.
