Big problem for other residents when school children are at home. The kids at home parents at work and no one to control them problems for other residents (apts). Very funny that the DC is giving so many holidays in one academic year. Students enjoying the longesssst weekend.

What do such parents do when Diwali/Dasera/Christmas/Summer vacations come ? They too take holiday so to take care of children ?

Absurd ! Acknowledge the concern the DC has for YOUR children, do not expect the government to take of your children while you are at work.

Remarks like these are unwarranted!. Think in terms of parents perspective! What if anything happens to their kid!?. Maybe you have to visit parents who have lost their kids due to rain related issues!!!.

It's good decision. But some colleges are not following this. It is difficult send them to college. If we do not send them to college, we parents have to go college next day and give apologie letter. No Dc order will come to help. Pls. Instruct every one has to follow DC order.

These rains are nothing, not heavy also when compared to the rains years back, but due to lack of drainage system, drainage encroachment, land mafia all the drain water flows on the road itself creating artificial floods on the roads even if it rains for 10 minutes. Present day generation consider this as the "HEAVY RAIN'
Earlier days we used to see two or three people used to repair drainage on roadsides by working manually. But nowaydays using JCB's to spoil those drains & the JCB operator is trained only to operate the JCB, he doesn't have the least knowledge of how the drainage should be? He comes with the JCB, spoils the existing drains & leave, thus creating disaster.
Killer manholes on the roads creating worst situation for motorists & the drain system.
We have surplus land but just see how bad the infrastructure is???
Uneven, killer manholes on the roads. Spoiling, digging concrete roads to repair blocked drainage system. How unscientific the system is....
    Very bad infrastructure management......
