Udupi, Aug 12: Leading photographer of Udupi, Astro Mohan has received Masters from Image Colleague Society of USA. The Masters’ award will be presented to him considering his contribution to photojournalism as a photo journalist.
Last year Astro received fellowship from the Image Colleague Society International, USA.
Astro Mohan is an internationally renowned news photographer with over 24 years in photojournalism and currently works as a senior news photographer of a popular national Kannada daily Udayavani published from Manipal.
He hails from Bellary and completed his early education in Belgaum and studied Bachelor of Arts at Canara College, Mangaluru. An incredibly versatile person with a rare blend of multiple talents, Mohan is also a magician, astrologer, palmist, orator, cine actor, artiste, art critic and to top it a prudent organiser of shows.
