Bengaluru: Election preparatory meeting held in absence of Siddaramaiah irks supporters

Bengaluru, Aug 11: Many senior Congress leaders held a late night meeting in Bengaluru on Thursday August 9 in the absence of co-ordination committee chairman Siddaramaiah giving rise to speculations that all is not well within the party.

The Congress has decided go solo in the upcoming local body polls without joining hands with the JD(S), with whom it had formed alliance post-assembly elections. Hence the Congress leaders are planning to win more seats than the BJP and the JD(S).

A meeting was held at party office headed by KPCC chief Dinesh Gundu Rao on Thursday. DCM Dr G Parameshwara, ministers D K Shiva Kumar, R V Deshpande and several MLAs took part in the meeting. It is learnt that though K J George, Ramalinga Reddy and M B Patil were invited for the meeting, they decided to skip since Siddaramaiah did not attend it.

Siddaramaiah had gone to his Badami constituency to meet the local leaders ahead of local body polls. But the close aides of Siddaramaiah have expressed displeasure against senior leaders of the party for holding the meeting in his absence.

Siddhuji deserve respect. He is the one who built the congress party so strong in Karnataka. Other congress leaders should not create division in the party.

Curse of majority of the people who has been deprived of Shaadi Bhagya benefits thus favoring it's bennefits to only one minority community. Curse of majority of the people who opposed Tipu Jayanthi even after protests by Hindu, Christian population will continue to haunt him. Though it's all Congress agenda but since he was the CM & approved it, hence he is responsible.
Congress cannot win the confidence of the people through it's divisive agenda.

Its wrong to sideline Mr Siddaramaiah. Congress could do it at its own peril. Local leaders should be careful not to sabotage the prospects of their party. The appointment of Mr Vishwanath as JDS President is also an indicator to humiliate Mr Siddaramaiah. Mr Vishwanath's utterances would bring down the government sooner than expected.

WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS SHADHI BHAGYA/TIPPU JAYANTHI. ?? IT'S NOT WORKED MUCH. HE MADE CONGRESS TEAM TO ALIGN WITH 'C' TEAM TO RULE THE STATE.
IN NEXT ELECTION PEOPLE ONLY TEACH BOTH PARTIES A LESSON THROW THEM INTO A DITCH FOREVER.
