Mangaluru: Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration celebrates ‘Aati’ feast

Mangaluru, Aug 10: ‘Aati’, the traditional Tulunadu fest was celebrated by Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration at the college campus in Kodakal recently.

In the morning, there were various traditional games conducted for the students.

Later the formal function took place in ‘Utsav’ at the college Auditorium. A C Bhandary, president, Tulu Sahithya Academy inaugurated the programme, followed by traditional cultural programmes.



Prof Amar Z Cherian welcomed the guests. Staff coordinator of the event Prashun Niel D'Souza rendered the vote of thanks. Student coordinator Rohith Nayak and student council president Gladen D'Souza were on the dais. B R Hegde, trustee (Nitte Education Trust) and correspondent of the college was also present on the occasion.

The traditional ‘Aati’ dishes were served to the special invitees and all the students of the college at the end of the day’s programme.
