Bengaluru: JMB link with IM - Kausar, Riaz Bhatkal connected?

Daijiworld Media - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Aug 8: National investigation Agency (NIA) and other investigators have subjected Kausar alias Muneer Sheikh alias Mohammed Jahidul Islam (38), a terrorist having links with Jamaat-Ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), who was arrested from Ramanagara here on the night of Sunday August 5, to intense questioning. Reportedly, they have been able to extract several details during this questioning.

Kausar, a prominent JMB leader, has been involved with the expansion of the operations of his outfit in Bangladesh and different regions of India. He also had established contact with Indian Mujahideen (IM) led by Riaz Bhatkal who is currently sheltered in Pakistan. Kausar, who happens to be an important link between JMB and IM, was mainly engaged expansion of terrorist network in India, the officials have realized.

Kausar

Kausar had planned the blast at Bodh Gaya in Bihar on January 19 this year with the help of his gang. Sometime after Buddhist religious leader, Dalai Lama, visited Bodh Gaya and left for Mahabodhi prayer centre, a few low intensity bombs had exploded in the area. The low intensity bombs, timers used in them, and detonators used bear testimony to the fact that JMB and IM had established links. During the investigation, it has also come light that these bombs were supplied from Kerala by IM led by Riaz Bhatkal.

On the basis of statement made by Kausar, NIA officials arrested Adil alias Asadulla (29) from Murshidabad, West Bengal, from the auto stand near Cantonment railway station here on Tuesday night. He happens to be a close associate of Kausar. Three cell phones and books relating to explosives were seized from his possession. He too has been living in Karnataka since the last two years. Two more associates of Kausar have gone missing.

Teams of investigators from Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, New Delhi and West Bengal rushed to the city on Tuesday and subjected Kausar to sustained questioning relating to cases being handled by them.

Lots of sleeper cells must be waiting for the order from high command. when Kashmir is on the boil ISI doesn't need to to play mischeif outside J&K area.
when Kashmir is peaceful Pakistan tries to rake-up issues by blasting our metro cities. Its all well orchestrated by ISI.

Yes, Bhatkal was always a communally disharmonious area.
Mlore to Bombay buses had to face the brunt of violence when they passed through Bhatkal even in 1980's and 1990's.

How Bhatkal is involved here ? The riaz in the news has lived all of his life in mumbai... I wish mangalore was never part of karnataka because every other day there are communal riots in mangalore. Bhatkal has not witnessed any riots since 1992. Meanwhile let me tell you that every major investment in Mangalore has either done by bhatkali's or kasargodians .

Can a Mangalore guy go to kasargod and invest or do any business. The number of people settling in Mangalore from kasargod is much more than any districts in Karnataka. People from Bhatkal who have invested in Mangalore have settled in Mangalore. No one wants to go back.

That is because Mangaloreans are bothered about beef and moral policing and do not see that their city is encroached by people from other states.

Mangaloreans follow the saying "shanivara coolie, aithara jolly, somara khalee"

    @ sachin
I dont know about kasargod, but any mangalorean can surely get settled in bhatkal. Nobody would have any problem with it. Most of them who are settled in mangalore included myself. I left mangalore and sold all my property there and shifted to mangalore. You are well aware of the moral policing takes place there. and one more thing bhatkal people at first they have primary choice for mangalore is only because its the nearest city. If bangalore was near then I am sure nobody would have looked at mangalore even.

They invested by their own choice to get the best out of it and by fooling, cheating, deceiving, killing or whatever. Mangalore was good and now getting corrupted because of outsiders. We dont their their investment... we are happy and need peace.

Sorry, We do not cheat or decieve. We put our hard earned money in your city. Remember if there;s no bhatkali or keralites passengers in mangalore airport then Airport will no longer be an international one.
