Mangaluru: Friends Ballalbagh Biruver Kudla holds free medical camp

Mangaluru, Jul 23: Friends Ballalbagh Biruver Kudla organized a free medical and dental camp at Government Higher Primary School, Gandhinagar here on Sunday July 22.

On inaugurating the camp, MLA Vedavyas Kamath said, "Biruver Kudla has indulged in the service of poor and distributes huge amounts in aid in the state. “Biruver Kudla is an example how organizations can involve themselves in social work ignoring community and religions and do the work of the government. It also has the reputation of making 'Huli Vesha' popular.”



Former minister Krishna J Palemar said that Biruver Kudla has organized the medical camp as a model. “Let people make use of the camp and be cautious about their health. Biruver Kudla is an organization that includes spirited youth and donates monetary help for medical treatment, weddings, wheelchairs for differently abled, scholarships etc.
The amount donated by them is nearly a crore. Their projects have become successful as young people in the organization set aside a portion of their earnings besides collecting contributions.”

Journalist Prakash Pandeshwar, founder president Uday Poojary Ballalbagh, president Rakesh Ballalbagh, Abhishek Ameen, women's wing president Vidya Rakesh, Yenepoya community dental department's Dr Rekha P Shenoy, medical officer Dr Darshan, dentistry department's PRO Dr Bharath, Dr Shwetha Ashith, BJP secretary Vasanth J Poojary, Biruver Kudla office bearers, activists and others were present.
