Rahul Gandhi can hug PM, people will not hug him in 2019: BJP

New Delhi, Jul 22 (PTI): The BJP today took a dig at Rahul Gandhi, saying the Congress president might forcibly hug Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but the people of the country would not embrace him in next year’s Lok Sabha election. Attacking the Gandhi scion over his speech at the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting today, BJP’s national media in-charge Anil Baluni said the people will reject him in the next general election.

In a series of tweets, he also claimed that the Congress had decided to contest only 150 seats in the Lok Sabha polls, while Gandhi was dreaming to become the prime minister. “Heard that desperate and disappointed Congress at its meeting today has set a target of contesting 150 Lok Sabha seats, while its president Rahul Gandhi is dreaming to become prime minister,” Baluni tweeted in Hindi.

Referring to the Congress chief’s hug to Modi during the debate on the no-confidence motion against the government in the Lok Sabha on Friday, the BJP leader said it was done forcibly. “Rahulji, you forcibly hugged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Parliament but people will not hug you in the 2019 general election. You should prepare yourself for bringing a no-confidence motion in 2024,” he tweeted.

Reacting to former prime minister Manmohan Singh’s attack on Modi at the CWC meet, Baluni said while the aim of the government led by the former was to increase corruption, the current NDA dispensation was aiming to double the farmers’ income.

BJP strategy is to keep the focus on Rahul. As long as Rahul is the President of Congress, BJP has nothing to fear Congress party. Even the strong man Siddaramaih also conceded defeat in Karnataka.

People will hug Hate or people will hug congress time only will tell. Pm with his speech totally diverted from main subject . People notice entire India is scared to talk . military of trolling is ready. if they get chance to Lynch that man will loose his life for no fault of his .Dont get in to conclusion whatever he does his actions & language is of a very high PM standard. either PM or any party members or their marketing TV channels never criticize Lynching . They opening encourage & reward Lynchers. the Main message Rahul gave is MR.PM stop Hate. But they took this message again in the direction of hate. not a single time PM sent a strict message to lyncher . stop it.

Congress President should maintain his dignity as he is president of 130 yr grand party not the President of the galli youth club,he should keep childish behavior out of the parliment.Same time the great Modi should maintain his dignity also while addressing the parliament ,he is prime minister of the india not just member of the BJP.

Aakash what wrong has Rahul done, PM claims he is a PM of the whole country and of 120crore people, he is there on PM chair because of the citizens of India, PM should not hug only presidents, prime minister or businessman but he should also try hugging the people of India, since Modi refused hugging the general public hence Rahul did what's wrong, well done Rahul .

Looks like Rahuls hug has unnerved the BJP and the PM. The whole No Confidence Motion has been washed out with this master stroke of Rahul which has become the talking point across the nation.

When feku enjoyed the hug by Rahul Gandhi, why others are crying?Feku speech showed how much hatred is there for Congress that he was not even moved, his face was as stern as ever. This has definitely put him in BAD Light.

Modi should remember that 'Pride goes before a persons fall' So he should get his act together and turn around things if he has it in him to turn around fate of BJP in 2019 ELSE he will be history and will be defnately be his 'Ghar wapsi to Gujarat, (never to return)'
