Mangalore, Oct 7: ‘Binnedi’ a book and a CD containing information about ‘Paad-dana’ a traditional Tulu art form, authored by Bola Chittaranjan Das Shetty, were released at Pathrika Bhavan here on Monday October 6.
The book was released by Kodialaguttu Ajith Kumar Maaladi, president, union of Bunts’ organizations. The CD was released by Bellipadi Hariprasad Rai, president, Manipal Vedachala Trust.
Researcher Dr Vaman Nandavar, spoke about the contents of the book. He praised the author for promoting the Tulu art form in the form of a book for its eternal survival. Dr Nandavar also termed the work a classic epic. Senior Tulu writer Kudkadi Vishwanath Rai also spoke about the book on the occasion.
