Mangaluru: Milagres College inaugurates student council, various associations, clubs

Mangaluru, Jul 19: The inauguration of the student council, various associations and clubs for the academic year 2018-19 was held on July 17.

The programme began with an invocation led by the college choir.

Eva Manorama welcomed the dignitaries and introduced the chief guest.



Chief guest Prof Edmund Frank, dean, PGDBM, St Aloysius College, Fr Michael Santhumayor, principal, Prof Lourdsamy, academic advisor, Cicilia Pereira, vice president, parish pastoral parishad, Ronald Pinto, PTA president, Cassin Rodrigues, vice principal, Savio D’Souza, CPL, Jaison Alister, ACPL, Glenita Menezes, secretary, Mohammed Irshan, joint secretary, were present.

Dignitaries inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. The principal administered the oath for Savio D’Souza and the other office bearers of the student council.
The chief guest addressed the gathering encouraging everyone to take problems as a challenge and push themselves toward success. He also spoke on the importance of the student council and its role. The principal in his presidential speech spoke on the college motto- Passion for Perfection. He congratulated all the members of student council.

The Programme was compered by Ammanna Sweedel while Anusha Jose proposed the vote of thanks.
