Who says we don’t have numbers for no-trust motion, asks confident Sonia

Mumbai, Jul 18(DC): With 273 Members of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, the ruling BJP is expected to blithely ride over the Opposition’s challenge of a no-trust motion tabled on Wednesday.

But UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi would like to think otherwise. When asked about the no-confidence motion brought by her party among others, she retorted: “Who says we don’t have the numbers?”

Well, the numbers, or their claim, will be evident on Friday when the Lok Sabha debates the motion between 11 am and 6 pm.

The Opposition cornered the government in Lok Sabha on Wednesday – the first day of the Monsoon Session – over several issues. The TDP shouted down its former ally BJP over the special status to Andhra Pradesh, the denial of which had prompted their departure from the central government in March this year.

Other parties pointed out the recent spate of mob violence, lynching and rapes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had tweeted in the morning hoping for a productive session, was present in Parliament on Wednesday.

These comments from Antanio Mainio will only exite or elate the 'barmaid bakths' and the followers of the beleagured Vinci Congress. Doesnt she know that there are 10 vacancies in Lok Sabha so strength of the house is 534 (excluding speaker). This brings down magic mark to 268. Bjp on its own has 273(minus speaker).

Instead of wasting time and money visiting foreign countries, he must be present on all days when the Parliment is in session so that he knows about all the problems and hardships being faced by the common man. even while he is in the country, he should not waste time in elections and finding fault with all the states in his election speeches and insted concentrate on attending Parliment and Governance.

The country is in bad need of full time Governance to check the aimless drift.

She should not be your concern, instead you must ensure that no more member of the RS leave as the Reddy gang did. If it happens, majority in the RS is 'PUSSSKKKAAA'

Let the opposition be united and shaw-cause the government that Unity is beter than boastfulness. It should be a determination to counter and achieve the goal with one voice & spirit. Never allow force and authoritarian rule to take over.
