Mangaluru, Jul 17: Admissions for MA degree course for 2018-19 at Mangalore University evening college, Hampankatta have begun.
Every year Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy distributes scholarships to encourage students who are joining the course.
The academy has urged Konkani speaking people to join the course in large numbers and help to promote the language and its culture. Admission period is extended by a week.
