UAE exempts visa fee for tourists' children every summer season

Dubai, Jul 15: In what could be a major benefit for tourists visiting United Arab Emirates, the UAE cabinet on Sunday, July 15, announced to exempt visa fee for tourists' children below the age of 18.

The visa exemption will be applicable during the summer season every year from July 15 to September 15.

The new decision reflects UAE’s position in the global tourism sector. It will encourage family tourism and also reduce costs of visitors.

Recently, UAE had announced to exempt visa fee of transit tourists for the first 48 hours. UAE’s airports have recorded 32.8 million passengers in first quarter of 2018.

    As is plain to see, UAE has got a few economic issues.

    The changes happening in Saudi Arabia will negatively impact UAE. In a significant way.

    Many Saudis who had invested in UAE are heading back. Saudi Arabia is serious about Saudi money remaining in Saudi Arabia. This should reduce annually at least US$5 billion being drained out of the UAE economy.

    One of the two airline hubs (Abu Dhabi and Dubai) will have to close. The two airlines may need to merge several departments - even if the airlines themselves retain their separate identities.

    So, major changes in UAE are ahead of us. In the short term.

    UAE is broke now, nobody staying there, there is a mass exodus of expatriates, so all this drama. Otherwise they don't care.

    Hi Rama,

    The Indians who are living here are happy and enjoying life, UAE is a good country to reside, i have been living in Dubai for the past 22 years and so are many of my friends and relatives who have benefited from this country.. Of course who are not happy will leave.. but keep in mind there are Lakhs of Indians living here and enjoying the life that UAE provides them..

    Kadri people wan't have proper road or any infrastructure and they are telling no one wants to stay in Dubai...... Any company offer them free visa they will forget India or Kadri and just book their flight to dubai in next flight.
