Janet Barboza elected president of Catholic women's wing of Udupi diocese

Udupi, Jul 15: Janet Barboza has been elected as president of Catholic women's wing of Udupi diocese for the year 2018-19.

Janet hails from Mudarangady parish and has been involved in several associations for the past several years.

The officer bearers elected are:

Vice-president - Wilma Pinto, Sasthana

Secretary - Clotilda D’Souza, Karkala town

Assistant secretary - Cynthia Pereira, Miyar

Treasurer - Claira Rego, Kalyanpur

'Monthia' editor - Lavina Sequeira, Pamboor

Assistant Editor - Josphin Rodrigues, Kundapura

The election process was conducted by convenor of Catholic women's wing of Udupi diocese Sr Janet Fernandes.

Spiritual director of the wing Fr Reginald Pinto was present.
