Police shouldn't give much importance to this kind of silly issues rather than other.Atleast this prostitution is avoiding many rape kind of heinous crime in society. As justice Santhosh Hegde said legalising this professionis need of hour.

Jossey, why are you stuck in 15 lacs? The black beauty has increased by 50% so we can expect our beloved PM to increase the amount to 22.5 lacs in 2019.

People comment as if prostitution was recently invented by one of the parties and it was effectively controlled by the other. It only speaks of level of IQ of people commenting as such. In my opinion, Santosh Hegde is right in saying that we need to legalize and regulate prostitution. By criminalizing it, no country has been able to control it. It will exist as long as humans exist. I am not sure what Police or government has done after rescuing so ma ny women from these rackets. Are they now in respectable jobs ? Time and again we prove that we are a hypocritical society and we fail to see the human side of the problem.

Prostitution is rampant due policies of the central government that is ruled by bjp. When Congress was ruling we hear words development, space technology, missile technology.

In bjp rule, we hear lynching, murder rape, cow government, cow happiness, beef export and prostitution, and scams made legal.

Police should be doing some better work, like control of rowdyism, drugs not prostitution as it is the old profession due to wrong policies of shameless bjp. I am not an admirer of congress either.

Two young girls who were victims of prostitution have been rescued by the police.

But the woman pimp has not been rescued. Although her identity has been rescued.

Maneka Gandhi may not be impressed if she gets to hear the news about how women are treated in Karnataka.

    Dev,
You need to do some study of history of Prostitution in India even before Moghuls entered this region.
Nagarvadhu and Devadasi system was in practice in the 1st century itself.

fayaz...who told in islam there is no dowry. In India muslim gals offering dowry in plenty in one or other way. At least they get married.
In middle eastern countries wonens cannot get married after 35..as bridegroom cannot able to offer demanded money by bride's money.
