Mangaluru: Former minister B A Mohideen passes away

Mangaluru, Jul 10: Statesman, leader backed by impeccable virtues, and former minister for higher education, B A Mohideen (81), breathed his last at a private hospital in Bengaluru on Tuesday, July 10 morning.

Mohideen was not doing well since many days mainly on account of advancing age. He was initially treated at Mangaluru. He had come back to Bengaluru some days back. It is gathered that he developed some health complications again and hence was admitted into M S Ramaiah Hospital here. His end came at about 6 am on Tuesday.

It is gathered that the family plans to take the leader's body to his residence at Sanjay Nagar in Bengaluru at about 8 pm. It will be flown to Mangaluru where funeral will be held, after facilitating people to pay their last respects.
