Udupi, Jul 9: Pramod Muthalik, founder of Sri Rama Sene has requested through a letter the heads of eight Maths in Udupi to solve their differences within the four walls of the Maths.
In a letter dated July 9, he stated that the contribution to the Hindu religion by the eight Maths is immense. “Some disputes have become public through media recently. It is appropriate for all to join and solve such differences amicably within four walls. Discussions in the media or entry to the court will not be a solution to the problems. Such actions will lead to more confusion and spoil the sanctity of the maths. Let us not give room for opponents of Hindus to mock us.”
“I pray to you, the venerable to respond to my request. I apologize to the heads of eight Maths. I am not an elder or intellectual to tell you. But this is only my prayer in the interest of Hindu religion,” he stated.
