Beltangady, Jul 3: Venur ICYM unit bagged the 5th place in the 'best unit' category in Mangaluru diocese for the year 2018 -19 during the 71st annual general body meeting at Urwa church hall on July 1.
This is the 7th time they have been honoured with this award. Their continuous activities, selfless service to the society and practice to maintain good relationship with everyone made them to achieve this award.
President Delson D’Souza, vice-president Rupert Pais, treasurer Ronson Tellis, secretary Reshma Fernandes, former president Pradeep D Souza, former secretary Jovita D'Souza, co-ordinator Arun D’Souza and other ICYM members received the honour.
They were also honored with Unique Programme Award for organizing unique programmes in the deanery.
