Udupi, Jun 27: Janatha Fish Meal and Oil Products and Orb Energy jointly held press meet to speak about the installation of 1 megawatt rooftop solar system at Janatha factory, Kota on Tuesday, June 26.

Addressing media, Prashanth Kunder, managing partner, Janatha Fish Meal and Oil Products, said that he was happy with the service given by the Orb Energy. He said, “We initially started with 100 KW of solar energy in 2015. With the response which we got from the same, we increased it to 400 KW in 2016 and now we are in the process to complete a total of 500 KW. By another 2 to 3 months, we will be nearing the half way mark of 2.5 MW. We are looking forward for the same support and service at our other units.”



Kiran TJ, vice president, marketing, Orb Energy, explained the growth of Orb Energy in India. Since 12 years of its inception, Orb Energy has sold more than 1,60,000 solar systems in India with cumulative installations of more than 40 MW rooftop solar systems, he informed.

T Sudhindra, vice-president, PV Projects, Orb Energy, explained about their footprints in the Karnataka and especially in the coastal region.
