Bantwal: Frustrated man hangs himself

Bantwal, Jun 24: In an incident which happened at Nakunad near Punjalkatte on Saturday June 23, a youth hanged himself. The deceased is identified as Prashanth (27), son of the late Bhoja Poojary from Nakunad.

Prashanth was unmarried. He lived with his mother, and used to work in a cloth store at Venoor.  It is presumed that he hanged himself from a ceiling fan at his home, at around 5 am on Saturday.  

After Prashanth's mother noticed this shocking development and called neighbours, who immediately brought Prashanth down, he had already died, it is learnt. A case of unnatural death was thereafter registered in Punjalkatte police station.
