'Fugitive Vijay Mallya has blood on his hands': Kingfisher employees write to PM Modi

Daijiworld Media Network

New Delhi, Jun 20: Employees of Vijay Mallya's Kingfisher Airlines have written an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj, questioning why dues owed by Vijay Mallya to banks were given priority over their unpaid salaries.

Calling Mallya a 'fugitive', they said he has ‘blood on his hands' and also regretted that the 'system failed them'.

"Mallya did not pay his Indian employees their salary, gratuity or compensation, but he paid and compensated his employees based in London and other foreign countries. This reflects very poorly on our country," the employees said.

"We the employees of Kingfisher Airlines wish to share with you that we have gone through a great ordeal as citizens of India and in the process discovered our rotten system which treats everyone in the same manner," the letter read.

"We tried various means: court, filed a criminal complaint with Jantar Mantar police station (Inspector advised to come through court as Mallya is very influential), labour commissioner, hunger strike etc. We have been running from pillar to post with no avail. We still get notice for unpaid income tax by Mallya. The system has failed us," they wrote in the letter.

Due to the liquidation process, the employees said they were unable to withdraw their provident fund amount. "Vijay Mallya had us during a personal meeting that banks won't be able to recover more than 5 percent of the loan amount," they claimed and alleged he was being helped by big shots.

They asked the government to break the nexus by punishing the culprits. "Mallya has blood on his hands. He should be brought back and punished for his crimes including abetment of suicide, as a deterrent for others and to restore faith in the law. As of now courts are not for justice but only a mean to harass the common man," the employees wrote.

"Your government still has one more year to go; we request you to wage a full-fledged war against corruption and corrupt. Kindly help us get justice and our wishes will definitely make you our Prime Minister again," they wrote in the letter addressed to the PM.

Mallya is facing a trial in UK court, which will decide if he can be extradited to India to face charges for financial irregularities involving a total amount of Rs 9,000 crore. On Monday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed a fresh chargesheet against Vijay Mallya and United Breweries Holdings Ltd (UBHL) on charges of money laundering.

We common man always think straight forward and argue without having enough knowledge of politics and policies of these politicians. They fight each other in front of you and for their benifit next moment they become friends. You can clearly see H.D. Kumaraswamy said he will not join his hands with any party or take their support. The next moment Siddaramiah and Kumaraswamy sitting together like bhai bhai. Same way our Prime minister also said he will bring all the black money from every corner of the world but he kept quiet as he too know that it is not possible due to the pressure from his party people and opposition too.
We need work hard and earn if we want to survive in this world. we can not cheat like Mallya or Neerav Modhi.
let us go to our work.....need to count salary end of the month.....
    regards,
    Shenoy

Vijay Mallya is a dynamic business man. His business overseas were flourishing. He lost in Aviation business because of Government's Step-motherly policies against the airlines other than Air India. AI never made any profit, rather it was running under loss. I don't know how these losses were written off.

Mallya did not fail; it was the system that failed him. There is no system of clearing off debt by filing bankruptcy and re-start a fresh like in the USA. Hundreds of companies file bankruptcy every year and start all over again in the USA.

When Mallya offered Rs.6,000 crores as settlement against Rs.9,000 crores debt, banks should have gladly accepted the offer and let him run the business again. Country will never get a businessman like Mallya with such a business acumen. He would have made Kingfisher an International Airliner and brought the lost money back to the nation in many folds.

Mallya does not belong to jail. The government should clear off all the charges against him and ask him to run the loss making Air India by loaning him required money once again. Money comes and money goes but the dynamic businessman like Mallya is a rare breed. (This is my own opinion and I always believe in second chance).

MALLYA is a biggest fraudster in our times which supported by BUREAUCRATS and Politicians including the Film Industry given a huge support to him. He has enjoyed the life from the money of tax payers ! He mocked the whole Indian System . No effect on your letter or emotional speech as judicial system doesn't work ( salman / jayalalitha cases ) Now gauri Lankesh Case which will be thrown in the dust bin though we knew the culprit. Similarly those effected will GET the pain but others who make fun or just smile at the people and ignore this is the current status of our GREAT INDIA.

VM a Cong RS member minted money got all his loans approved in the UPA regime as the 'gandhis' in turn enjoyed the favours from KF airlines. As the regime changed he was about to be exposed due to stringent policies. So he fled, he was a regular traveller, no susipicions were raised a the airport of where ver. So as per the Chelas of Raul Vinci as usual its Modis fault. So in that case the best option for the KF airlines staff is to approach Antanio Maino or Vinci Baba for help. Now will they help is the biggest question.

WOW, what is the Justification!!!!!! Friend, you have the ability to become the "AIR-CONDITION " instead of FAN!!!!!! If it is so, then what's wrong with Nirav Modi, Mehul Choski, Lalit Modi, Vikram and the latest one called Mukesh Modi from Rajasthan???? Certainly, someone would be a Fan of them!!!! That's the reason , more and more Indian Origin people in USA are going to Jail on FRAUD cases!!!!!

You're absolutely right. Even I've seen this. Air India flights with not so we'll maintained & not so good service we're being overbooked, whereas Kingfisher flights were flying with few people. Mallya was not being given lucrative middle-east sector & we people used to get satisfied with sandwich & chai of Air India whereas Mallya was providing good service.
