Bantwal: Men question suspicious looking gang - get thrashed

Bantwal, Jun 19: Observing that some young men were seen sitting in a parked auto rickshaw regularly since the last three days at Amai within Kadeshivalaya village in the taluk, two locals had approached and questioned them. They were beaten up with hands and with wooden stick, it is said.

Sanath Kumar Alva and Satwik from Amai, who got injured in the incident, stand admitted into the government hospital here, police officials stated.

Relating to the same incident, a local, Abdul Rahiman, got admitted into the government hospital at Puttur for the treatment of his injuries.

As soon as he got to know about it, local MLA, Rajesh Naik Ulippadiguthu, visited the hospital and spoke to them. A case about the incident was filed in rural police station in the town.
