Sharjah, Jun 19: Namma Kundapra Kannada Balaga (NKKB) felicitated International Aryabhata awardee Dinesh Chandrashekhar Devadiga at Woodside restaurant here on June 15.
President of NKKB Sadan Das welcomed the gathering and said, “We are pleased to honor our own vice-president Dinesh Devadiga on being bestowed with the prestigious award at Bengaluru on May 23 earlier this year.”
Dinesh Devadiga is known for serving needy people in the field of education, medical help to poor, book and scholarship distribution to students, and other social services.
Senior members Vasu Shetty and Karunakar Shetty draped a shawl on Dinesh Devadiga and Vishala Devadiga in the presence of other members.
Other members presented bouquet, memento and showed their gratitude to their vice president.
NKKB members had a sumptuous lunch post felicitation.
