Mangaluru: MLC B M Farooq first in state to own Range Rover LWB Autobiography worth Rs 3.60 crore

Mangaluru, Jun 16: JD(S) leader and MLC B M Farooq, who is also the managing director of Fiza Group, has become the first person in Karnataka to own the luxury vehicle 2018 Range Rover LWB Autobiography, which costs Rs 3.60 crore.

The vehicle was handed over to Farooq on Thursday, June 16 at Forum Fiza Mall in city in the presence of his family members including brother former MLA Mohiuddin Bava.

The Range Rover looks stylish with the premium metallic paint – Aruba and has an all-round exterior LED lighting. Designed to last a lifetime, the innovative pixel-laser LED headlights provide the ultimate option and give the vehicle the ultimate road presence.

The vehicle is powered by a 4.4L V8 twin turbo diesel engine mated to an 8 speed ZF (auto) gearbox. The vehicle pumps out 340 BHP and 740 nm of torque. It has a towing capacity of 3,500 kg.

The vehicle is constructed with an all aluminum monocoque chassis. An all-new front grille signals a more prominent appearance, while the clamshell bonnet, formed of a single sheet of aluminum. With a sublime and beautifully designed interior, Range Rover takes luxury to even greater heights. Rear seats have increased recline and all seats have deeper cushioning for greater comfort, with 25.4 cm (10) rear seat entertainment with touch screens that ensure passengers also enjoy optimum levels of entertainment.
